Scope of the journal
The aim of the journal is to review the professional field of land surveyors
in Finland and to offer a forum for general international scientific discussion
on current topics.
The articles range from theoretical and technical papers to scientific
discussions and presentations of educational, research and development
institutes or centres involved with land surveying. The journal covers
geodesy, photogrammetry, cartography, real estate economics and valuation,
land management and cadastre techniques, and real estate jurisdiction.
The journal is the referee journal; editorial board decides on the acceptance
of the articles presented.
The statements and views presented by the contributors are not
necessarily the same as those held by the editorial board or the editors.
General information and subscriptions
The journal will be published twice a year. Subscription rates for one
year are in Finland FIM 150.-, and abroad FIM 200.-. For
the members of the Society the journal will be sent free of charge. For
scientific associations and institutes the journal is free of charge on
exchange basis.
