FJHP - Camp 1998

The team members lived in the Bedouin tent on the mountain plateau during the season 1998.
The electricity was produced by solar cells - there was plenty of sunshine! The electricity was needed for batteries of measurement and camera equipment, computers etc. The cellular phones and e-mail was used to be in touch with Petra, Amman and Helsinki.
Lunch break at half past one in the afternoon ends the daily work on the excavation site.
Shower and toilet tents for daily hygiene.
After siesta it was time to wash the pottery.
